PIROX 20MG TABLET
PIROX 20MG TABLET contains Piroxicam, which belongs to the group of medicines called Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs. It helps to reduce pain and swelling affecting the joints. It is also used to relieve the symptoms caused by osteoarthritis (a joint disease that occurs when the protective tissues at the end of the bones wear out and is characterised by joint pain in the hands, neck, and hip), rheumatoid arthritis (autoimmune disease-causing painful swelling of joints and stiffness), and ankylosing spondylitis (rheumatism of the spine resulting in a hunched forward posture).

How PIROX 20MG TABLET Works
Pirox DT Tablet contains piroxicam as its active ingredient. Piroxicam works by inhibiting the release of natural chemicals in the body called prostaglandins that cause pain and inflammation. This helps reduce swelling, stiffness, and discomfort associated with various conditions.
The active ingredient in Pirox DT Tablet blocks the enzymes responsible for producing prostaglandins in the body. By doing so, it decreases the production of these chemicals that are involved in the inflammatory response. As a result, pain signals are reduced, leading to a reduction in pain and inflammation.
How to Use PIROX 20MG TABLET
- Take Pirox DT Tablet orally.
- To prevent stomach upset, it is recommended to take it with food.
